DUTIES:

- Protecting revenue by ensuring all customers are in possession of a valid ticket to travel and selling tickets as necessary
- Respond courteously and effectively to all customers ensuring they are dealt with in a polite, welcoming and professional manner
- Assist disabled and other customers with prams, luggage etc. and with all types of train enquiries
- Carry out crowd control procedures when required to do so and provide customer service during service disruption
- Work as directed by the Contract Manager

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential
- Candidates must be able and willing to travel up to 1 hour to various locations, as required (rail travel provided).
- Previous experience of working within a face-to-face customer orientated environment
- Ability to work under pressure remaining calm and dealing with customers in a positive manner
- Cash handling skills
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Good communication skills
- Works well within a team but is able to work independently
- Flexible with hours and days of work - able to work shifts and regular weekends
- Punctuality and reliability are paramount
- Positive attitude
- Self motivated
- The ability to read and interpret Public Transport information and have a good understanding of timetables

DUTIES:

- Be responsible for the direct supervision of Workers based at the relevant Location(s) by carrying out supervisory tasks that include, but are not limited to, monitoring performance, attendance, including return to work interviews, annual leave, development and training needs;
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks carried out by the Workers that are allocated to them to supervise;
- Be responsible for the control and adequate supply of Materials;
- Be able to demonstrate levels of skill, competence and experience appropriate to the role in:

- Clean the floors (either hard floors or carpets)
- Replenish soap and toilet paper dispenser
- Clean bowl and apply a coating of toilet gel.
- Remove first light tube and clean inside the extractor ducting with a soft brush (sash tool)
- Clean PA and radio handsets
- Clean internal glasswork
- Other cleaning duties as required by the company
